How to Schedule Your Free Consultation

Getting started with Conte Design & Millwork is simple and exciting! First, reach out to Michelle at mtconte.design@gmail.com or use our contact form to tell us about your project. This allows us to determine if we’re the right fit for your needs.

If we’re a good match, we’ll schedule a free consultation call to learn more about your project and the details of what you’d like to create. Feel free to share reference photos—whether it’s a piece of our past work or something you’ve come across that inspires you. For example, if you’re envisioning a dining table inspired by a vintage Art Deco console, send it our way so we can better understand your style and goals.

Once we’ve gathered all the details, we’ll start developing initial concepts and simple designs. We’ll have another free meeting to review these ideas together. If you’re ready to move forward, we’ll proceed with a more detailed design phase, at which point a 10% deposit is required to secure your project in our schedule.

Let us help you bring your project to life with a collaborative and creative process that’s tailored just for you!

Design Process

Jamie, our talented designer and master craftsman, along with Michelle, our creative manager, will collaborate closely with you during your design calls. Michelle will take detailed notes while Jamie creates hand-drawn sketches of your piece(s) to bring your vision to life. He’ll also share examples of wood options and photos of aesthetics or furniture pieces that inspired the design.

Jamie is dedicated to staying true to your specific design preferences, ensuring every detail you wanted is included—and then some!

Lead Times

Once the contract is signed, we’ll request your initial deposit to secure your place on our priority list. Your project will be scheduled, and lead times typically range from one to nine months, depending on the size and complexity of the project.

What is the payment schedule?

Design

We require a 10% deposit after presenting the initial design concept to secure your spot in our schedule and continue with the design process.

Materials and Building Cost

Once the design is finalized, 40% of the project cost is due to cover materials and begin production.

Delivery

The remaining 50% is due upon delivery of the finished piece, which will include 6% sales tax, as well as shipping and installation costs.
